Theatre Alberta is a registered charity dedicated to the growth and development of the Alberta theatre community. We proudly represent ~800 individual and group members from across the province, providing responsive programs, services, and advocacy that connect professional, amateur, and educational theatre artists.

Our core programs and services include the operation of Canada’s largest public theatre library; Artstrek, a summer theatre school for teens; Emerge, an audition showcase for post-secondary acting graduates; Workshops by Request in towns across the province; The Playbill, a comprehensive listing of the Alberta theatre season; and a website featuring theatre-related classifieds.
